About

Hi, I'm Chee Loung, founder of Mageworks.ai.

I've been building software since 2012, and in 2018 I co-founded a supply chain consultancy that helps manufacturers plan smarter.

I grew up through the whole digital shift, from blowing dust out of game cartridges to streaming everything. I've seen plenty of "next big things". Some changed everything; most didn't. That's why Mageworks starts with an honest question, not a sales pitch.

When I'm not untangling workflows, I'm probably up a mountain, debugging life.

Do I need to be technical, or have an IT team?

Not at all. You know your business; we handle the tech. We explain everything in plain language, and if your team will use what we build, we'll show them how.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope, but we start small on purpose: one workflow, built and proven, before anything bigger. You'll get a clear timeline before any work starts.

What if you tell me I don't need AI?

Then that's the answer, and you've just saved money. You'll still leave with a clear picture of where a simple automation, or a small change in how work flows, could help.

Is my business data safe?

On a project, we only access what the job needs, keep your data in your own tools wherever possible, and agree in writing how it's handled. We never sell it or reuse it for anything else. When you first get in touch, a few trusted providers help us reply. Our Privacy Notice lists them all.

Will a digital employee replace my staff?

No. A digital employee takes the repetitive work off your team so they can focus on the work that needs a person. And it always reports to someone on your team.

What tools do you work with?

Usually the ones you already use: WhatsApp, Gmail or Outlook, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, spreadsheets and common accounting software. If something can't be connected, we'll tell you upfront.

Do you work with businesses outside Malaysia?

Yes. We're based in Malaysia and work with businesses anywhere. Most of the work happens remotely.
